About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Karlsuddsvikens Båtklubb (KVBK) is a private boat club founded in 1988, with around 250 members today. The club is located at Karlsuddsviken on Bogesundslandet in Vaxholm, and the harbour comprises three piers with a total of 170 berths, of which 35 have mooring buoys and the rest Y-booms. Berth widths range from 2.5 to 4 metres, and the maximum boat weight allowed is 8 tonnes.
Drinking water and electricity are available on the piers, and a mast crane is available for sailing boats. In winter, around 60 boats are hauled out onto the club's boatyard (maximum weight 6 tonnes), and in summer the same area serves as a parking lot.
The club also leases an islet near Svartsö with piers, mooring buoys and picnic spots, as well as swings for the youngest visitors and a rowing boat. Midsummer celebrations are traditionally held here, and a crayfish party follows later in the summer.
