About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Kongsdal Lystbådehavn is a small marina on Mariager Fjord, built by Kongsdal Bådelaug in the late 1980s, with room for pleasure boats sized 0-40+ feet, dedicated guest berths, motorhome pitches, shelters and tent sites. The harbour sits on the Dania peninsula, right between Mariager and Hadsund, and a genuine lighthouse brought from Thyborøn together with a large harbour emblem made of natural materials welcome visitors - a landmark so striking that Queen Margrethe herself once asked to visit the harbour during a sailing trip on the fjord.
The guest berths are clearly marked right by the entrance to the inner harbour, and you are also welcome to moor at one of the harbour's 100 pole berths if the sign shows green. The harbour fee is 130 DKK per day, while members of the Frihavns or Fjord scheme pay only 40 or 30 DKK in environmental fee for the first three days, after which the full rate applies. Using the slipway costs 50 DKK per use. Payment is made at the harbour office, where you receive an access card for the clubhouse, electricity and showers.
The clubhouse offers a kitchen, dining hall and a sailors' lounge plus a terrace overlooking the fjord, and the ground floor has newer bathrooms and a laundry room. East of the clubhouse there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and hot/cold water, as well as a barbecue area that guest sailors are welcome to use.
