About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Lakseberget is a private boat club and small-craft harbour in Sandvika, in the municipality of Bærum, located at the innermost part of Sandviksbukta bay south of the E18 motorway, between the islet Danmark and Sjøholmen. The harbour is run by Lakseberget Båtforening and consists of several jetties with berths for small and medium-sized leisure boats.
Access to the harbour is locked and under video surveillance, and use of the berths requires membership of the boat club together with a key fob. This is therefore a private members' harbour rather than an open marina with casual guest berths for visiting sailors.
Water and electricity are available at some of the berths, and the adjoining car park has a toilet and a waste container for harbour users.
The harbour is centrally located in Sandvika, within a short walk of Sandvika railway station and the town centre with its shops and other amenities. The municipality of Bærum has plans to eventually develop the area around Lakseberget into a larger maritime recreation zone, including a guest jetty and on-water activities.
