About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Port du Meix is the largest of the three marinas on Lake Vouglans in the Jura, France, and serves as the main harbour office. Located at the foot of the Pyle bridge, right next to Surchauffant Campsite and its beach, the marina offers 274 berths spread across 3 pontoons.
At the marina you'll find a 24-hour fuel terminal as well as a trailer parking area and a launch and haul-out service that make arrivals and departures easy. Speeds on this part of the lake are regulated, and the zone is known as the speed zone with a general limit of 60 km/h for motorised vessels, while sailboats and non-motorised craft are limited to 10 km/h elsewhere on the lake.
Here you can rent equipment for water-skiing and jet-skiing, and from the marina you have access to the cruise boat »Le Louisiane«, a replica of a Mississippi paddle-wheeler, offering a guided tour and lunch on board. Two eateries are located at the marina: the restaurants Balcon and Guinguette.
Moor at Port du Meix, take the short walk to Surchauffant Campsite and its beach, and round off the day with lunch aboard »Le Louisiane« or dinner at Balcon or Guinguette.
