WSV Herne 1920 e.V. is the first marina on this site and lies in a sheltered stretch of the Rhein-Herne Canal (km 37.7), right next to the Herne-Ost lock. The marina has three modern motorboat jetties with fresh water and shore power connections, and holds the German "Qualitätssiegel - maritim" quality mark from the DMYV.

The guest berths are located at the end of the middle jetty, clearly marked, with a side pontoon that also suits larger yachts. If these are occupied, a berth is found in the boxes along the main jetties. Guest sailors are welcome at any time, ideally with prior notice by phone or email to the harbourmaster.

The marina offers modern showers and toilets, a club bar (Vereinskneipe) and a barbecue area for guests. Shore power and fresh water are available at the berths. Diesel can be bunkered directly at the water from the neighbouring club.

About 800 metres away, within walking distance, you'll find a restaurant, a snack stand, shopping options and a fuel station. Moor at the marked guest jetty, enjoy the showers and barbecue area, and walk the 800 metres to eat or shop.
