About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Yachtclub Hebewerk Henrichenburg is a club marina by the old Henrichenburg boat lift, where the Dortmund-Ems Canal (km 15.4) meets the Rhein-Herne Canal (km 45.5) in Waltrop. The marina has 32 + 3 berths for pleasure craft of varying sizes and lies within the historic Schleusenpark Waltrop, one of the world's largest canal junctions.

Guest boaters are always welcome, whether staying overnight or just for a day or an hour – advance booking is generally not required, though the 19-metre guest berth should be requested early. Moor bow-first at the guest jetty (up to 15 m) or at the lower guest jetty at the far end of the club grounds towards the boat lift (about 19 m, max 2.00 m draught). Guest berths are marked with green signage. The rate is 1.50 euros per metre per day, plus 2 euros per person per day (children under 14 free), 4 euros for a shower, 4 euros per water refill, and 5 euros per day for electricity. If the harbourmaster is not present, guests can call to receive an access code for the harbour area and sanitary building, where payment envelopes are kept.

The clubhouse contains a sanitary building with toilets and coin showers (no hot water in winter); there is no washing machine, dryer, or waste disposal in the marina. Each berth has a power connection (16 A, blue CEE plug), and drinking water is available near every berth.
