Manhemskajen

Manhemskajen is a small marina in the heart of Skellefteå, situated on the bank of the Skellefteälven river. The marina is run by Nordisk Sjötaxi, which operates the harbour in central Skellefteå with berths for rent, guest berths and a café serving waffles at the quayside.

Boaters can choose a berth along the quay itself or along the long pier, depending on the beam and length of the boat. The marina also has a slipway for launching boats. Guest berths can be rented at a designated spot and cost from 50 SEK per day or 80 SEK per 24 hours.

A small café at the quay offers refreshments, and from the marina you can rent boats to try your luck fishing or simply glide along the river, and kayaks are also available for hire in the area. Parking is available along Varvsgatan close to the marina.

Manhemskajen is centrally located in Skellefteå, within walking distance of the town centre. From here you can paddle upriver, past the centre and around the islands, including past "får-ön" and "bonnstan". Benches and seating are found along the harbour and the footpath. Treat yourself to a refreshing swim in the river once you're back from your outing on the water.
