About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Alghero marina lies at the heart of the Riviera del Corallo on Sardinia's northwest coast, sheltered by old Catalan walls right next to the historic town centre. The marina has berthing for 2200 vessels and has been awarded the Blue Marina Awards.
The entrance channel allows a maximum draft of 4.5 metres, and the maximum boat length is 50 metres. The marina is open 24 hours a day and monitors VHF channel 9. On arrival you are met by a dinghy that guides you to your berth, with assistance provided for mooring and departure.
At Banchina Dogana e Sanità, right by the old town walls, you'll find fresh water, electricity (single- and three-phase up to 63 A/100 kW via 125 Ah shore-power points), plus toilets and showers. Nearby, partner businesses offer boatyards with a crane and travel lift, chandlery, an electrician and blacksmith, and a laundry service.
From here it's just a short walk to Alghero's historic centre with its Gothic-Catalan churches, old towers and Aragonese palaces, museums such as Museo del Corallo, and a lively town full of cafés and restaurants. Berth at Banchina Dogana e Sanità and stroll the short distance through the old walls into the heart of the town.
