Marina Altefähr

Marina Altefähr is a small, cosy port of call for cruising sailors on the Strelasund, close to Stralsund, with an open view of the UNESCO World Heritage city skyline, the three brick churches, the Ozeaneum and the Rügen Bridge. The marina has over 20 guest berths and offers peace and quiet along with a good stopover on the Strelasund.

Berths include electricity, water and wifi. Prices depend on boat size: size S (up to 2.2x6 m) from €10/night, M (3x9 m) €18/night, L (3.5x10 m) €20/night and XL (4.5x11 m) €22/night. The harbour office is open Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 08:00-10:00; the slipway keeps the same hours, and using it costs €10. Outside opening hours, berths and slipway use can be arranged by phone or email.

The Fährhaus building has toilets and showers (50 cents each), plus a washing machine and dryer (€4.50 each). There is a slipway for launching, coffee specialities can be enjoyed in the Fährhaus, and the marina has its own small harbour library. Parking is available both at Kurpark and within the harbour area, at different rates depending on location.

In the village, the shop "Dit & Dat" sells groceries for daily needs, and there is a cash machine opposite the Fährhaus. Tie up at the quiet guest berth and head straight to the Fährhaus for coffee with a view over the Strelasund.
