About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Citymarina Stralsund is a marina on the western bank of the Strelasund, right by Stralsund's medieval, UNESCO World Heritage old town. The marina offers 300 berths for both long-term and short-term sailors and is protected by a 450-metre mole against northerly winds as well as a further breakwater against westerly winds.
Visiting yachts can find berths at a water depth of 1.3 to 3.5 metres on floating jetties on the south side of the mole (eastern section) or directly alongside the quay, rafting up if needed. The season runs from 15 April to 31 October, and German and English are spoken at the harbour office. Guest prices start from 24 euros. The nearby Ziegelgraben bridge opens daily at 5:20, 8:20, 12:20, 15:20, 17:20 and 21:30. The marina can be called on VHF channel 11.
Onboard comforts include showers at 0.30 cents per minute, fresh water at 0.70 cents per 50 litres, and electricity billed at 0.70 cents per kWh. Sanitary facilities and a laundry are located in the floating harbour house, and you can get online via the marina's own wifi hotspots.
Right next to your berth lies the historic sail training ship Gorch Fock I, and you're less than a nautical mile from the charming old town with its Hanseatic brick Gothic architecture, imposing churches and cosy lanes. The city centre offers restaurants, shops, a bakery, a butcher, a post box, a bank and a pharmacy.
