About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Marina Buchholz is a modern marina at Seepromenade 1 in Buchholz, located on Lake Müritz with access to the canals towards Rheinsberg. The marina has a spacious, modern pontoon facility with berths for permanent, seasonal, day and short-stay guests from 1 April to 31 October, and also offers winter berths from 1 November to 31 March, as the Elde tributary usually protects the harbour from icing.
Guest boaters are always welcome, and a berth is almost always available. Day visitors pay 2.00 € per linear metre of boat length plus 2.00 € in additional costs per person (plus a 2.00 € surcharge for power and water), while short-stay guests pay 5.00 € for 3 hours. Using the quay wall to launch or haul out a boat costs 15.00 € per use, and pump-out or refilling (pump-out, fresh water) costs 10-25.00 €.
The harbour office building houses spacious shower rooms and sanitary facilities, and a shower token costs 2.00 € for 3 minutes of shower time (plus a 50.00 € key deposit). You can take on fresh water and dispose of grey and black wastewater via two modern pump-out systems (chemical toilets, however, cannot be emptied here). There is also a beautifully situated restaurant at the marina as well as parking.
From Buchholz you can sail directly out onto Lake Müritz or head via the canals towards Rheinsberg, and the towns around the lake offer a zoo, climbing park, restaurants and wellness facilities.
