About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Boots-Sport-Club Weyhe e.V. runs a club marina on the Wieltsee, a dredged lake connected to the River Weser, in Weyhe-Dreye near Bremen. The marina lies about 6.5 river kilometres upstream of the Hemelingen lock at Weser km 355, and the narrow entrance channel into the lake is around 1.80 m deep. Numerous sailing and motor boats lie at the floating pontoon, well sheltered from westerly and north-westerly winds. Shore power and fresh water are available at the pontoon, and the club has its own crane for launching and hauling out boats. The clubhouse is built raised and flood-proof, offering wide views over the Weser and the surrounding waters, and serves as the hub for the club's roughly 80 active and passive members. The marina also has its own small swimming beach and plenty of space for children to explore. Tie up at the pontoon on the Wieltsee, take in the view from the clubhouse, and let the kids enjoy the little beach.
