About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Portolabieno is a marina in the Laveno bay on Lago Maggiore, located at 45° 54.745 N - 8° 36.945 E. The marina has 180 berths on floating pontoons, some of which are reserved for visiting boats, and can accommodate boats from 6 to 14 metres in length.
There are no shallows at or near the entrance, so the marina's waters are navigable year-round. Its location within the Laveno bay shelters it from the most frequent winds on Lago Maggiore (Tramontana and Inverna), while the outer concrete floating breakwater provides shelter from north-westerly winds. The nearest fuel stations are Verbania Intra (2.2 NM, petrol only), Stresa (3.9 NM, petrol and diesel), Fondotoce (5 NM, petrol and diesel) and Calde (3.3 NM, petrol only).
The marina offers drinking water at the berths, 220 V electric power, restrooms with toilets and showers, sorted waste containers, a dishwashing area and an electric pump for boat washing. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina, along with vending machines for hot and cold drinks, an ice dispenser and a microwave oven. The entrance is secured with an electronic lock, and there is a watchman service day and night plus night lighting. From 1 October to 31 March the restrooms have limited opening hours, and during this period there is no running water or showers.
Berth at one of the 180 pontoon spots in the sheltered bay of Laveno, and enjoy a secure marina with power, water and free Wi-Fi right at your boat.
