Porto comunale di Verbania Intra is located on the waterfront in Intra, a few steps from the centre and behind the important public boat dock. The entrance is spacious and easily accessible, the seabed is medium-deep and mostly muddy, and it is easily recognizable by its semicircular structure. Some of the boat berths are on floating docks, and other moorings are on landing ramps intended for small units. Upon entry, to the right there is a slipway for small to medium-sized boats; at the end of the port is a floating dock for temporary mooring. Intra is a pleasant town to stroll around, with cafés and an abundance of small shops.
