About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Rünthe is an inland marina in Bergkamen, the Rünthe district, on the Datteln-Hamm Canal, just 3 km from the Bergkamen/Hamm motorway exit on the BAB 1. The harbour basin covers 41,500 square metres with a water depth of 3-5 m and is separated from the canal by a steel breakwater with wave protection and a mole; the water level varies by no more than 30 cm. The marina has 286 berths in total spread over 11 floating pontoons, including 12 guest berths on a dedicated guest pontoon, and accommodates boats up to 18 m in length.
The marina is secured with fencing, pontoon gates and round-the-clock video surveillance, with pontoon lighting year-round and the marina open all year.
On site you'll find two sanitary buildings with toilets, showers and washbasins, metered shore power (16 A/3,500 W) and water points on the pontoons. There is a slipway, a fuel berth with diesel and petrol, a pump-out station, a 16-tonne crane, a repair workshop, and summer and winter storage for 80 boats. Along the promenade with benches you'll find three restaurants, a café and a bistro, plus two fenced car parks.
In the nearby Rünthe district there are shops and banks, and the surrounding area offers swimming at nearby open-air pools, cycling routes through the flat Münsterland countryside, and walks around the Beversee area. Tie up at the 12-berth guest pontoon and take the short walk into Rünthe for provisions or a meal at one of the marina's restaurants.
