Marina Saal

Marina Saal lies on the Danube in Saal a.d. Donau and is described as a marina with flair, conveniently located near numerous recreational destinations and the historic Befreiungshalle in Kelheim. The marina offers over 200 wet berths for boats from 6 to 30 metres, plus a 7,200 sqm winter storage hall, and a crane with a lifting capacity of up to 63 tonnes that can handle boats up to 9 metres wide.

Boats lie at flood-proof pontoons with shore power, fresh water and wifi at nearly every berth. A fuel berth right on the harbour basin supplies diesel and premium petrol, open in summer season from 1 April Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 9:00-18:00, with winter fuelling by prior arrangement.

Ashore you'll find newly renovated sanitary facilities with XXL showers, a free washing machine, a slipway (available with the marina's own tractor on request), and repair and boat service for Mercury/Mercruiser and Volvo Penta engines. Restaurant Riverside, with terrace and lounge, sits almost right on the water and offers Italian cuisine, afternoon coffee and Aperol with views over the marina, the Danube and the Befreiungshalle Kelheim.
