Marina YC Plochingen

Yachtclub Plochingen e.V. is a club-run marina at the navigable upper end of the Neckar, at kilometre 200.1. The marina sits in a green oasis just outside Plochingen and has around 40 active members involved in motorboating, inflatable boats and sailing.

Guests arriving on their own keel, as well as trailer skippers, are asked to register their arrival in advance. Guest berths are available at the jetty, and the clubhouse is staffed at weekends, while on weekdays it operates on a self-service basis through members present.

Facilities at the marina include toilets, washing and shower rooms, water and shore power connections at the berths, a slipway (with a 1-tonne winch), a mast crane, a fuel station and boat service. There is also a pump-out facility for chemical toilets, and the clubhouse serves as a central meeting point offering a restaurant/gastronomy and cafeteria for both members and visiting sailors.

Within walking distance you'll find Plochingen's town centre with its old town hall from 1530 on the market square, the town's oldest surviving building, the Ottilienkapelle from 1328, and the colourful Hundertwasserhaus with its playful architecture. Tie up at the club's jetty and take in both the green riverside oasis and the town's historic and artistic landmarks.
