About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Marineholmen gjestebrygge is a guest marina with 70 berths, centrally located at the innermost part of Puddefjorden in Bergen. The marina welcomes visitors staying for short or longer periods in the city.
If your boat is taller than 4.5 metres, you must book an opening of the Småpudden bridge, which is regulated by Bergen Kommune. Berthing fees are paid on arrival via the GoMarina – Marineholmen gjestebrygge app, at a rate of NOK 9 per foot per day. The fee includes access to shore power and fresh water, while access to the service centre costs extra. Quiet hours apply in the marina after 11 pm every day.
On the quay there is a service centre with toilets, showers, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. All berths have access to shore power and fresh water. City bikes for rent are available right by the marina. Car parking is not included in the berthing fee, but there are good paid parking options in the area, regulated by Sesam Parkering.
The Bybanen light rail stops a few hundred metres from the marina, putting central Bergen just minutes away. Nearby you'll find grocery stores, cafés and restaurants, including Nabolagskaféen Parken, Restaurant Søtt + Salt Lanternen, Kafé Slippen by Marineholmen Bystrand and Ostra Restaurant at Viken Brygge, as well as the VilVite science centre and the Cornerteateret theatre and bar. Tie up at the guest berths and stroll the few hundred metres to the Bybanen or down to Marineholmen Bystrand for a swim.
