Melbu småbåthavn

Melbu Småbåthavn is a small-craft marina in the village of Melbu in Hadsel Municipality, Nordland, on the southern shore of the island of Hadseløya by the Hadselfjorden. The marina is run by the Melbu Båtforening boating association, which through extensive volunteer effort has built a fine harbour for small boats.

As you enter through the breakwater at Melbu the marina lies to starboard, and you moor alongside the floating pontoons. The marina has its own slipway and a diesel/petrol fuel berth at the innermost part of the harbour, where card payment is accepted.

At the pontoons you'll find shore power and fresh water for the boat, and the marina's service building offers showers, toilets and a washing machine. The association also operates a slipway where boats can be hauled out for maintenance.

Within walking distance of the marina you'll find a pharmacy, a bathing spot, a cash machine, bus services, a grocery store, a hotel, a café, a kiosk, a doctor and a post office. Right next to the marina is also an area for motorhomes, offering a fantastic view over the Hadselfjorden towards the Lofoten mountains and good opportunities for fishing from the shore.
