About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

NyHavn 2 is a guest marina located right in the centre of Middelfart on the island of Funen, with views over the Little Belt and its two bridges. According to a marina guide, the harbour has around 50 berths and a water depth of up to 3.2 metres in the eastern part of the harbour basin.

Mooring is available either alongside or in boxes on dolphins. A guest berth starts at around 235 DKK per night for boats up to just under 9 metres, while somewhat larger boats between 9 and just under 12 metres pay around 265 DKK.

At the harbour you'll find electricity on all berths, access to drinking water, and toilet and shower facilities. There are three barbecue areas free for guests to use, and a wifi hotspot at the harbour. The nearest bike rental is at KulturØen right next door, where you can borrow bikes from Donkey Republic. Motorhomes can park in the harbour's own parking area.

From the harbour you can walk straight up into Middelfart's pedestrian street with its many specialty shops, cosy cafés and a wide range of à la carte restaurants. Right next door lies KulturØen with a library, brasserie and café. If you're up for adventure, you can go Bridgewalking on the old Little Belt Bridge and enjoy the view from 60 metres up. Also keep an eye out for porpoises in the Little Belt – around 3,000 are said to live in the strait.
