About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Porto di Alghero sits in the heart of the Riviera del Corallo on Sardinia's northwest coast, right beside the old Catalan city walls and close to the historic centre. The marina has berths for 2200 boats and welcomes visiting yachts year-round, open 24 hours a day.
The approach allows boats up to 50 metres in length with a draft of up to 4.5 metres. The marina monitors VHF channel 9, where the Consorzio del Porto will greet you and guide you by dinghy to your berth. Shore power is available via charging points rated at 125 Ah, and the berths are under daily supervision.
On site you'll find toilets and showers, fresh water on the pontoon, and shore power for your boat. Nearby, through partner businesses, you can access a crane and travel lift, a boatyard, an electrician and a locksmith, as well as a laundry.
Walk the short distance through the old city walls into Alghero, known for its Gothic-Catalan churches, coral craftsmanship, and welcoming cafés and restaurants. Berth at the Banchina Dogana e Sanità quay and enjoy the town's historic charm just steps from the cockpit.
