About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026SSF-H (Segel-Sport Flensburg-Harrislee e.V.) is a sailing club marina at the mouth of the Krusau river in Wassersleben, a district of the municipality of Harrislee, just one kilometre northwest of Flensburg on the Flensburg Fjord.
You can approach the harbour day and night, as entry to the lit pier facility is always possible. Always take the northern course around the mole to enter the harbour. Guest sailors are warmly welcomed and moor on whichever free berths are available. Note that only boats under 4 metres in beam and/or 14 metres in length can moor here, and draft should not exceed 2 metres since grounding at low water cannot be ruled out. The harbour cannot guarantee safe mooring during storm surges. The season runs from April to October, and the harbour can also be reached by bus line 1 from Flensburg.
Alongside the usual sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, the harbour offers limited supply options.
A large sandy beach stretches north of the harbour in Wassersleben, where you'll find a hotel, several holiday apartments and restaurants. Shopping options are about a 10-minute walk from the harbour. A little further north lies the Schusterkate border crossing, the first place to cross into Denmark, and a 20-30 minute walk takes you to the Kupfermühle district with its historic buildings and an industrial museum. Moor up in Wassersleben and experience this idyllic border region between Denmark and Germany.
