About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Wassersportverein Galwik e.V. lies well sheltered in Galwik Bay near Flensburg and offers berths for around 70 boats at 2 piers, most on floating pontoons, some on fixed piers near the shore. The club also lets seasonal berths to guests without requiring membership; allocation takes place at the end of February once it is clear which members' berths are free, and berths are only granted for one season at a time. Electricity, water, waste disposal and showers are included in the berthing fee. Ashore there is a clubhouse with a large terrace, boat sheds, equipment sheds, a shower/WC building, mast storage, a workshop and a slipway. By arrangement, guests can also use the slipway (up to 10 tonnes), wash the hull and step or unstep the mast, depending on the availability of the club's volunteer members. There is a gantry crane (up to 10 tonnes) and a mast crane on the east pier (max. 400 kg). Near the clubhouse there are play equipment for the youngest sailors, a communal barbecue area and free wifi at the berths and clubhouse. Note that there is no guest parking on site, though loading and unloading can be arranged.
