About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Munkebo Harbour is a small, municipally owned marina, beautifully located in Kertinge Nor at the end of Kerteminde Fjord, directly across from Munkebo Kro. The harbour is leased to the local association Munkebo Bådelaug, which is responsible for daily operations, maintenance and administration.
Reaching the harbour takes a bit of planning: because of the low clearance of only 1.30 metres under the Langebro road bridge in Kerteminde, only a few visiting boats make their way to this idyllic spot. However, if you bring a dinghy or inflatable boat on your summer trip, a tour through Kertinge Nor is highly recommended. The trip to Munkebo is about 6 km, and the channel is somewhat winding, so caution is advised if you are unfamiliar with the area.
Along the way you can visit the historic Ladbyskibet Viking ship, and the harbour itself sits idyllically located directly across from Munkebo Kro.
