About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Mecklenburgischer Yachtclub Rostock (MYCR) is located at Gehlsdorfer Ufer on the northern bank of the river Warnow, between buoys 60 and 62 – a quiet spot close to Rostock. The club's premises are recognisable by the blue boat crane, with the distinctive clubhouse just east of it.

Water depth at the berths varies between 1.00 and 2.30 m, and the water level can fluctuate considerably, so caution is advised on approach. There are box berths with stern poles for boats up to 13 x 3.50 m, and a head pontoon for larger boats. The berthing fee is €8.00 per day for boats up to 8 m, €10.00 for 8–10 m, and €12.00 for boats over 10 m, plus a flat €1.50 per day for water and electricity. Discounts apply for longer stays: 10% from 7 days, 20% from 14 days, 30% from 21 days, and 40% from 28 days or more. Fees are usually collected between 6 and 8 pm at the pontoon.

The marina offers water and electricity connections at the berths, toilets and showers (access code available from a member, showers require €0.50 in coins), as well as waste and sewage disposal. There is a rail slipway and a mast crane (€25), plus a 10-tonne boat crane (€150) for boats with a maximum draught of 2 m.

From the marina you can explore Rostock and its surroundings, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting at Gehlsdorfer Ufer.
