About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Neuharlingersiel is a small marina run by the Neuharlingersieler-Yachtclub, completed in May 2008 alongside the construction of the ferry harbour. The marina lies just past the pier heads on the port side as you enter, with room for about 35 boats, of which 5-10 are guest berths. The bottom is soft mud.

Approach is via the Neuharlingersieler Wattfahrwasser from the west or the Harlesieler Wattfahrwasser/Alte Harle from the east; the outer channel is about 1 nautical mile long and marked with poles and stakes on the starboard side, with a white light on the head of the leading dam. Boats drawing up to 1.40 m can enter Neuharlingersiel from 3 hours before to 3 hours after high water. Guest berths are along the south side of the main pontoon or at the green-marked finger jetties; boats around 11 m should register in advance. The marina is open April to October. Guest berth fees are based on boat length: €12 up to 8 m, €14 up to 10 m, €16 up to 12 m and €18 up to 14 m, plus a service fee of €3 per person over 16, and a visitor's tax payable at the tourist information office.

Shore power and fresh water are available at the pontoons. The sanitary facilities with toilets and showers are located in the Fährhaus, accessed via a code lock obtained from the harbour master's assistant.
