About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Neuharlingersieler Yacht-Club runs a small marina in Neuharlingersiel, completed in May 2008 as part of the construction of the ferry harbour. The marina has room for about 35 boats, of which 5-10 are guest berths, and lies just to port immediately after passing the pier heads.
Approach is via the Neuharlingersieler Wattfahrwasser from the west or the Harlesieler Wattfahrwasser/Alte Harle from the east; the outer channel is about 1 nautical mile long and marked with poles and stakes on the starboard side, plus a white light on the head of the guide dam. Boats with a draught of up to 1.40 m can enter Neuharlingersiel from 3 hours before to 3 hours after high water. Guest berths are found at the main pontoon on the south side or at the green-marked finger pontoons; the bottom is soft mud. The marina is open from April to October. The guest berth fee depends on boat length, from €12 (up to 8 m) to €18 (up to 14 m) per day, plus a service fee of €3 per person over 16, and a resort tax payable at the tourist information office.
Shore power and water are available at the pontoons. The sanitary facilities are located in the ferry house and are accessed via a code lock, with the code provided by the harbour master. Next to the pontoon there is a slipway for trailer boats and parking spaces, and the whole facility is locked.
