About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Niedersächsischer Motorboot-Club is located in Hannover-Limmer on the Leine-Abstiegskanal at km 0.2, just a short detour from the Mittellandkanal. The marina has a well-kept jetty with room for about 40 boats, maximum length approx. 15 m and width 4.5 m, with a water depth of up to 2.5 metres. You'll lie calm and free of wash here, as the marina sits in a dead-end waterway with no through traffic. Approach from the Mittellandkanal (km 149.5) into the Zweigkanal Hannover-Linden heading south-east, and at km 8 continue straight into the Leine-Abstiegskanal, where the club can already be seen on the north bank. The harbourmaster or another member will assign guests a free berth, and free berths are marked with a green sign. Berth fees are €1.50 per night per metre of boat length, electricity costs a flat €2.00 per night, and drinking water costs €1.00 per 100 litres. Note that the Mittellandkanal, due to its many bridges, can only be navigated with the mast lowered. The marina offers showers, toilets, drinking water points, a power connection at every berth, and a shared barbecue area. It's about a 15-minute walk to the nearest tram and bus stops, and you'll find shops and restaurants nearby, plus the chance to visit the city of Hannover. Tie up at the green-marked guest berth and take the 15-minute walk into Hannover's streets and restaurants.
