About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WSV De Stuw is a marina belonging to a sailing club, beautifully situated above the lock at the historic fortified town of Grave on the river Maas. The marina lies somewhat hidden and sheltered behind the former shipyard hall.
If sailing downstream on the Maas, follow the river until just past the large shipyard hall (opposite kilometre marker 175), then turn to port; after the bend the marina lies straight ahead. If sailing upstream from the lock, after about 500 metres turn a quarter turn to starboard, and you will head almost directly for the marina entrance.
The sanitary building was renovated in 2013 and offers toilets, showers and a disabled toilet; each shower has a squeegee so you can leave it as tidy as you found it. Berthing fees include shore power (maximum 6 amps, not to be used for heating) and drinking water for filling your tank – note that the water in Grave is hard and lime-rich, and scrubbing decks with drinking water is not allowed. Near the shed there are waste containers for household rubbish, ideally sorted into paper, glass and plastic/cartons/cans. The marina has a pump-out station for both holding tanks and bilge water, used in consultation with the harbourmaster. There is a hoist crane and a boat slipway, which non-members may also use for a fee with the board's permission. Wireless internet is available in the clubhouse and part of the grounds; the login code can be obtained from the harbourmaster.
