About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Watersportvereniging Maas en Waal is located on the north bank of the Maas river, just east of the bridge on the A73 motorway, in the floodplain near the village of Heumen. The marina has room for just over 80 boats in the water, about three-quarters of which are sailboats, plus a few smaller boats on land.
Due to the risk of high or low water, the marina is only accessible from 1 April to 1 November. During this period, visiting sailors are very welcome, and guests are asked to call the harbourmaster on duty in advance to arrange an overnight stay.
Moor at this cosy river marina near Heumen and enjoy life along the Maas, while experiencing the hospitality of a small, active sailing club.
