About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Norra Hamnen is a guest harbour in Lysekil on the Swedish Bohuslän coast, located in the Bansvik area northwest of the town centre. The harbour is one of Lysekil's newest small-boat marinas, with both permanent berths and around 50 guest berths on the outermost pontoon dock.
In the pre- and post-season (April 1st-June 9th and August 19th-October 27th), an overnight stay costs from 250 to 800 SEK per day, while high season (June 10th-August 18th) costs from 350 to 950 SEK per day. Electricity and access to service facilities are included in the overnight fee, and you must depart no later than 1 PM.
The harbour's service building offers toilets and showers, shore power, fresh water at the dock, a waste-sorting station and free wifi. Right next to the harbour is the Lysmar marina with fuel, chandlery and a café, and there is also a pump-out station for holding tanks in connection with Norra Hamnen.
You can walk straight from the dock into the old town of Gamlestan and on to the shops on Kungsgatan, including a grocery store, as well as restaurants. Along the quay runs a new waterfront promenade with a bathing spot, sun deck and beautiful sunsets to the west, and you can even swim right next to the boats. The calm and scenic Bohuslän setting makes Norra Hamnen a great choice for families and adult guest sailors looking for peace and quiet.
