About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Rödön/Lindesnäs is a municipal small-boat harbour run by Uddevalla Municipality, located on Byfjorden in Bohuslän, in the Gustafsberg area southwest of Uddevalla town centre. It is one of the council's larger harbours with several hundred permanent boat berths, serving both local boat owners and visiting sailors. In 2023-2024 several of the harbour's floating docks were replaced with newer pontoon sections relocated from Södra hamnen as part of a landslide-safety project in the town centre.
The harbour has a pump-out station for boat toilets, making it easy to empty your holding tank. There is also a slipway at Rödön where you can launch and haul out your boat.
Within walking distance you'll find Gustafsberg, a former bathing resort dating back to the 18th century that is now a protected heritage site. From there you can follow the coastal promenade, which stretches over 9 km along the shore, and the surrounding area offers swimming spots, cafés, restaurants and hiking trails.
Berth at Rödön/Lindesnäs and make use of the pump-out station and slipway while you explore the historic Gustafsberg coastline on foot.
