About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Nykøbing Mors Harbour functions today as both an industrial harbour and a marina, originally constructed in 1788. The marina is a private, independent harbour owned and operated by Morsø Sejlklub & Marina.
Guest berths are just a few hundred metres from the town centre. Between the harbourmaster's rounds, in daytime hours from 10am to 4pm, you can stay free of charge, but if the boat is still there when charges are collected in the evening, usually between 4pm and 6pm, payment for the overnight stay is normally required. Payment is made to the harbourmaster, who passes by the harbour several times a day. At the service quay by the crane, you may only tie up to use the facilities: crane lift, diesel refuelling, water refilling and pump-out of the holding tank.
In the sailing club's service building there are showers, toilets, a lounge and kitchen, plus a covered terrace with barbecue facilities. In front of the service building there is a playground, and by the pontoons there are barbecue areas with tables and benches. By paying the harbour fee you get free access to showers, electricity, water, a washing machine, kitchen facilities and the club's large clubhouse. There is also a harbour grocery store within walking distance.
The town's pedestrian street, tourist office and bike rental are within walking distance (500 m) of the harbour. There are several restaurants both at the harbour and in town.
