About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Nykøbing Sj. Marina lies at the innermost point of Nykøbing Sj. bay in the Isefjord, sheltered from the wind and close to both forest and town centre. The harbour has 440 permanent berths, making it the largest of Odsherred's three harbours, and the many homes and houseboats in the harbour area make it a lively hub all year round.

Permanent berths in the harbour can accommodate boats up to 60 feet with a draught of 2.5 metres. As a visiting sailor you'll be given one of the harbour's guest berths, or you may use a vacant permanent berth if it is marked with a green sign - note that it is not possible to book a guest berth in advance. The guest fee per night includes shower and electricity and starts from 210 DKK for boats under 10 metres, with payment made at the machines by the harbour office.

On site you'll have access to a kitchen, shower and toilet facilities, with the option to pay extra for laundry and tumble drying. Electricity posts with CEE sockets are fitted on all jetties, and free internet access is available for visiting sailors, with the password on the payment receipt and included in the guest fee. The harbour has a slipway for launching and hauling dinghies, plus its own crane for boat handling. On the harbour grounds you'll find Café Sommer Salonen, a playground and barbecue areas, and there are also several restaurants nearby along with an ice cream kiosk.
