About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Nyord Havn is a small, charming marina on the car-free island of Nyord, north of Møn, located in Bøgestrømmen between Zealand and Møn. The harbour is about 100 years old and today serves both as a guest harbour for sailors and as a fishing harbour for local fishermen.
The depth at the harbour entrance is 2.2 metres, and the harbour is typically dredged in April if it has silted up over winter. It is not possible to reserve a berth in advance, so you are advised to arrive early, especially during peak season.
The harbour has toilets and showers for both men and women, with the access code provided when you pay for a berth, or purchasable separately at the ticket machine. Fresh water is available from a tap on the side of the white toilet building, and an extra-long hose is kept in the equipment shed. Shore power (230V) can be connected at every berth, though you need to bring your own extension cord with a standard plug. Grilling is allowed on the green areas around the harbour. Diesel fuel can be obtained locally, and limited groceries and fresh bread are available from Nyord Ø-handel, along with eateries such as Restaurant Gaströ and Lollesgaard, serving lunch and dinner.
From the harbour it is only a few minutes' walk to Nyord's historic village with its narrow, charming streets, the distinctive octagonal church, and a local café. Cars are not allowed in the village, but parking is available on the outskirts.
