About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sandvig Havn (Sandvig Fiskerihavn) is a small, authentic and peaceful harbour on the Bøgestrømmen strait in Vordingborg Municipality, South Zealand, with views towards Nyord, Degneholmen and Jungshoved. The harbour has for many years served as home port for local pound-net fishermen, but is today used mainly by leisure sailors and recreational anglers.
At the harbour you can moor alongside the quay or anchor, and guest berths are available. The guest fee starts at around 100 DKK, paid at a vending machine on site.
On the pontoon you will find shore power, a shower and toilets, and the harbour also has a slipway and a crane. Next to the harbour there is a shelter with an adjoining fire pit, where you can stay overnight and enjoy nature.
The harbour lies within a Dark Sky area, where the night sky can be experienced in full clarity, and it is also a stop on the historic themed cycle route Munkevejen. Just across the Bøgestrømmen lies the Ulvshale-Nyord Vildtreservat, one of Denmark's most important resting areas for waterfowl, and north of the harbour you will find meadows and pastures. Come and moor at Sandvig Havn and enjoy the tranquillity, the starry sky and the rich birdlife.
