About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Ørsta Småbåtlag runs the municipal marina right in the centre of Ørsta, at the innermost point of the Ørstafjorden and surrounded by the impressive Sunnmøre Alps. The marina has around 180 permanent berths and is a popular destination for both local boat owners and visiting sailors.
The guest pontoons lie at the innermost part of the harbour with plenty of room to manoeuvre, offering around 25 guest berths. The daily rate for a boat including shore power is 350 kroner.
Freshwater and shore power are available at the pontoons, and the marina has a service building with showers, toilets and a laundry room. There is a diesel pump in the harbour, pump-out facilities for holding tanks, a waste container, and a slipway for launching boats.
Within walking distance you'll find Ørsta town centre, including the town's largest shopping centre about 200 metres from the harbour, as well as several good-quality restaurants. Right by the marina there's also a playground with various play equipment and trampolines, and fine hiking terrain nearby. Tie up in Ørsta and enjoy both fjord and mountains just steps from the pontoon.
