About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Grimstad Gjestehavn sits centrally in the Grimstad harbour basin, popularly known as Pollen, on the Sørlandet coast of Norway. The guest marina lies open in the middle of the basin and offers between 100 and 120 guest berths.
The fairway into Grimstad is well marked, and in summer the marina is busy - you will typically be shown to a berth by a harbour host. The service facility is open every day during the summer season from 1 June through 31 August. Payment for a berth is made via the GoMarina app or at the payment machine on the pontoon, with prices starting from NOK 250 for boats under 30 feet.
On the pontoons you'll find fresh water and shore power, both included in the daily rate. The service building houses toilets, showers, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Pump-out for holding tanks is available at the nearby Terje Vigen quay, and the guest marina has its own recycling station for sorted waste. All boating guests have access to free wifi, and you can even play mini-golf right in the marina. Fuel can be taken on nearby at Torskeholmen. A summer restaurant operates in the harbour every day during the season.
From the pontoons it's a short walk to the town's shops, restaurants, cafés, kiosks and pubs - the municipality itself describes it as five minutes to everything, including the cinema and library. Tie up in Pollen and you'll have the whole of Grimstad's town centre within walking distance.
