About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Porto di Alghero lies at the heart of the Riviera del Corallo on Sardinia's north-west coast, sheltered by the old Catalan town walls and just steps from the historic centre. The marina offers 2200 berths and welcomes boats up to 50 metres in length with a maximum draft of 4.5 metres.
The marina is open 24 hours a day and monitors VHF channel 9, where the Consorzio del Porto guides you by dinghy to your berth on arrival and assists with mooring and departure. Shore power is available (single/three-phase, up to 63 A/100 kW) via 125 Ah pedestals, along with daytime surveillance on the pontoons. Rates for transiting boats and catamarans are listed in the marina's price sheets.
On site you'll find toilets and showers as well as fresh water on the pontoons. In partnership with local providers you can access a crane and travel lift, boatyard and chandlery services, plus a laundry nearby.
Alghero itself offers Gothic-Catalan churches, Aragonese palaces, museums such as the Museo Archeologico and Museo del Corallo, and a lively café and restaurant scene in the old town just outside the harbour walls. Berth in the sheltered marina by the old walls and walk straight into Alghero's centre to experience the town's history and cuisine.
