About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Port de Plaisance de Ouistreham is a marina in Normandy, France, located on the canal and basin leading out to the English Channel, with access through the harbour's locks (SAS).
The harbour office monitors VHF channel 09 and keeps seasonal opening hours (high, mid and low season). The slipway in the outer harbour can be used between 17:00 and 24:00 when the water depth is at least 2.70 m, with secured trailer parking and a waiting pontoon. Lock passage can be followed via a video tutorial, and there have been periodic restrictions on lock operating hours due to low water levels in the river Orne.
The pontoons offer fresh water and shore power (220V, 6A), plus 18 toilets and 8 showers with round-the-clock code access. The marina provides containers for household waste, used oil, glass, plastic, paper and cardboard. A fuel station (petrol and diesel) is located along the canal in front of the locks. A laundry, a clubhouse with a bar and ice cream (SRCO), free onboard wifi, bike and car rental, and free unguarded parking are all available. For boat maintenance there's a hydraulic lifting trolley for vessels up to 14 tonnes and 1.80 m draft, a closed-circuit careening area, and several local chandleries and boatyards, including Accastillage Diffusion and Nauti Plaisance.
In the town of Ouistreham you'll find all kinds of shops, including a supermarket about 1.5 km from the marina.
