About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Porto di Sperlonga is a recently expanded and renovated basin harbour on the coast at Sperlonga, between the Circeo headland and the Gulf of Gaeta in the Mediterranean, close to the Parco Regionale della Riviera di Ulisse and with the Pontine Islands within 30 nautical miles. The harbour has been awarded the Bandiera Blu 2026 for marinas.
Entry is via an 11 m wide and 90 m long channel leading into two basins separated by a central arm, with a total area of 19,000 m², sheltered by a 200 m breakwater from the Torre Truglia promontory and a curved inner pier. Parts of the quays are reserved for professional fishermen, coast guard vessels, and boats in transit. Reception is open year-round, 24 hours a day, while mooring assistance operates 7:00-19:30 (May-October) and 8:30-17:00 (November-April).
Quays and floating docks paved with wooden planks are fitted with towers providing electricity, drinking water, and washing water, activated with a prepaid card. Ashore there are administrative offices, reception, toilets with showers, a fuel station for petrol and diesel (open 8:00-19:00 May-October, 8:30-17:00 November-April), and pumps for pump-out of black and bilge water. Reserved parking is available for boaters.
Between the harbour and the archaeological area of Grotta di Tiberio lies Spiaggia dell'Angolo, which along with the town's other beaches has held the Bandiera Blu since 1997. Sperlonga's white hillside village sits right by the harbour with sea views. Berth in the basin and walk straight out to Spiaggia dell'Angolo and the archaeological grotto.
