Prishamnen

Prishamnen, also known as Fotö Gästhamn, lies on the small island of Fotö at the southern edge of Gothenburg's northern archipelago, with Vinga as its nearest neighbour out to sea. The harbour sits within the old part of the original fishing village, with small red fishing sheds and narrow lanes, and the island has around 650 year-round residents.

The guest harbour has about 20 boat berths with alongside mooring, and the boating season runs from May to October, while the adjoining motorhome/caravan pitches stay open all year (camper season June-September). Payment is made at a ticket machine for both boats and cars.

On the pontoons you'll find electricity and fresh water, and the harbour area has a café along with a recycling station for waste sorting. The service building houses two toilets and two showers, a laundry room and a dishwashing room, and there is facility for septic tank pump-out as well as greywater disposal and pump-out ('septisug') for boats. A barbecue area is also available.

Above the harbour the houses stand close together in typical archipelago style, with charming lanes running between them, and a café on the pier sells locally baked 'Hönökaka' bread in summer. The island has fine walking paths all the way around and bus connections to the mainland. Come and tie up at Fotö and experience one of Bohuslän's best-preserved fishing villages.
