About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Rasvåg is a guest harbour on the island of Hidra on the outskirts of Flekkefjord, where Veisevågen guest harbour can accommodate most leisure boats, in a fishing village known for its white-painted houses.
The best entry into Veisevågen is through the small Kirkesundet channel, and a large buoy also lies just outside the harbour, which is reportedly free to use. The harbour is managed by Flekkefjord municipality's harbour authority.
At the dock you have access to fresh water, electricity and a service facility with toilets and showers. The grocery store is just 100 metres away and also sells petrol for boats, and the shop carries a full grocery range and sells fuel, and also houses a café serving hot food, coffee and cake as well as beer and wine. The area also has a boat slipway as well as parking and a waste container.
Within walking distance you'll find the museum "Fedrenes minne i Rasvåg", with an old feldspar mine right behind it. There are many hiking opportunities, and the easiest way to reach the island's highest peak is to start from Veisdal and follow the track towards Langelandsfjell, which offers a great view towards Lista.
