About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Revsudde Hamn (Revsudden) is a small guest and fishing harbour on the Skäggenäs peninsula in Kalmar Municipality, Kalmar County, set by a lagoon-shaped bay with two reefs acting as natural shelters for the harbour. The harbour lies at the narrowest point of the Kalmar Strait and has historically been an important crossing point between Öland and the mainland.
Guest berths are open from 1 June to 30 September, with around 6 guest berths and a water depth of about 2.4 metres. If you're cruising the Kalmarsund coastline, this is a convenient stop on your way to Öland or the northern Kalmarsund archipelago.
At the pontoons you'll find shore power (13 electrical connections), coin-operated showers, and simple but clean sanitary facilities including toilets.
Within walking distance lies the charming old fishing village with fishing huts and an old dance hall, as well as the former pilot lookout building, site of a pilot and customs post since the 1500s. Moor up in this atmospheric, slightly secluded harbour and experience the historic charm at the narrowest point of the Kalmar Strait.
