About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Rosendal Hamn is a modern guest harbour right in the centre of Rosendal on the Hardangerfjord in Kvinnherad municipality, situated between the mountains Mederskin and Malmangernuten. The harbour has a reputation as a state-of-the-art marina facility, and with around 60 guest berths it has become a popular stop for boaters travelling through Hardanger.
You can moor at the solid guest quays, which stretch for several hundred metres. Shore power costs 3 NOK per kWh, paid via a payment terminal in the white service building, where you also collect a "marinacard" for the power outlets. Free wifi is available throughout the harbour.
Inside the service building you'll find toilets, showers and a washing machine. The harbour also offers a fuel station, fresh water for the boat, a waste/environmental station, a boat launch ramp, plus a playground and bathing spot for families. Close to the quay you'll also find a restaurant, a café, a grocery store and parking.
A short walk from the harbour brings you straight into Rosendal town centre, where shops and attractions are close by, and it's just a brief stroll to the historic Baroniet Rosendal, Norway's only barony estate. Moor up in Rosendal and enjoy both the harbour's facilities and the beautiful Hardanger scenery right outside the quay.
