About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Rosenvold Havn is a small private marina on the north side of the entrance to Vejle Fjord, close to Rosenvold Castle and Rosenvold Strand Camping. It's a cosy, intimate harbour surrounded by forest and beach.
The harbour can be entered around the clock, but only in daylight and clear weather, as it is unlit. The entrance is marked with red and green top stakes, and there is a 3-knot speed limit inside the harbour basin. There is no harbour master's office – the harbour master visits twice a day, otherwise payment is made in the mailbox by the clubhouse. The price for an overnight stay is 170 DKK including electricity, water and shower, payable in cash or by MobilePay via an envelope at Fiskerhuset. As a visiting sailor you can freely use the cosy clubhouse.
The harbour offers toilets, showers (5 DKK for access to the fine shower room), shore power at the berths, fresh water, wifi and a barbecue area. There's a small playground for children and a slipway, and just across the road you'll find Rosenvold Strand Camping with a kiosk for essential supplies.
Just a short walk from the berths you'll find Rosenvold Strand and Rosenvold Castle, dating from 1575. Staksrode Skov, with tall slopes down to Stenhøj Strand, lies about 2 km from the harbour, and on the other side of the harbour is Hotel Vejlefjord with its beautiful park and old paths passing the Træskohage Fyr lighthouse.
