About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Brejning Lystbådehavn is a small, idyllic privately owned marina on the south side of Vejle Fjord, run by the Foreningen Brejning Lystbådehavn. The marina has over 200 permanent berths set in beautiful, unspoilt surroundings with park-like planting around the former Kellerske Institutioner buildings.
The harbour can be entered day and night through lit vertical breakwater heads on a heading of 180°. Depths in the harbour range from 3 to 2.5 metres, though less than 2 metres at the berths closest to shore. Visiting yachtsmen may berth freely at the guest island in the middle of the harbour or at any berth marked with green signs. Harbour dues in 2025 are DKK 165 per day, including water at the pontoons, showers and access to the clubhouse facilities. Card-payment electricity points are available at all pontoons.
The marina offers 3 toilets in the clubhouse plus 2 public toilets and a disabled toilet, and 2 shower rooms for paying guests. Marine diesel can be bunkered around the clock at a card-payment pump on the service quay. There is a 5-tonne crane, which visitors may use in emergencies by arrangement with the harbourmaster, and a slipway for club members. Free wifi is available, best received near the guest island, along with free loan bicycles, several barbecue spots, and a large playground with a bonfire area and beach east of the harbour.
The town of Brejning lies about 2 km away with Spar and Fakta grocery stores plus a café and pizzeria.
