About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Royal North Sea Yacht Club Oostende is a dynamic sailing club and marina on the Belgian coast, founded in 1946. The marina has around 100 berths spread across Montgomerydok, Churchillkaai and Visserskaai, right in the heart of Oostende, hosting both permanent boat owners and visiting yachts. The club is home to an active racing fleet and serves as a hub for international keelboat classes such as the Dragon, J24 and SB20.
The marina has its own crane with a capacity of up to 2 tonnes for keelboats, as well as a slipway for launching. Shore power is available at the berths, with 300 kWh of consumption included in the berth fee, while additional usage is charged separately. Next to the marina there is trailer parking and extensive parking for both cars and motorhomes.
The location by Oostende's "klein strand" makes the marina well suited for hosting large sailing events, within walking distance of the station and town centre, about 10 km from the airport, and less than a quarter of an hour's sail to the racing area offshore.
Berth in the heart of Oostende and make use of the club's crane and slipway while enjoying the proximity to town, station and beach.
