About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Seglerverein Langeoog runs a marina on the German North Sea island of Langeoog. The marina has berths for the club's own boats in the western part, while visiting yachts are directed to designated guest berths as instructed by the harbour master. At low tide a water depth of about 1 metre is maintained, rising to about 3-4 metres at high tide; the bottom is soft, so even keel boats lie safely. The harbour is well sheltered, with swell only occurring during strong southeasterly winds of Beaufort 6 or more at high tide. The finger pontoons are 8-10 metres long, making it easy to moor and step ashore.
Every berth has shore power and fresh water. Toilets and showers are found in the clubhouse „Seglerheim“, along with a washing machine and dryer for your holiday laundry. Waste is disposed of in the club's own container on the dike, and there is pump-out for chemical toilets at the harbour. The restaurant „Kajüte“ offers food and drinks, and the kiosk sells ice cream and other treats - the harbour master is also happy to supply fresh breakfast rolls.
Fuel and petrol must be sourced on the mainland, for example at Bensersiel, where there is a filling station near the harbour. The town is 2.5 km away - about a 30-minute walk - or you can take the island railway, which departs once the ferry has arrived. There is no bicycle rental at the harbour.
