About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Sejlklubben Aarhus Nordhavn is a small boating club with 39 berths, located at the innermost part of Aarhus Lystbådehavn, close to Aarhus city centre. It is a lively harbour with fishing vessels, sailboats, motorboats, wooden boats and rowing boats, and lies near a slipway, fish shops and gourmet restaurants.
Entry to the harbour is straightforward. The basin depth is about 3.5-4 m, and there is room for boats up to 5-6 m in beam as well as smaller boats under 3 m beam. In the summer season there is typically capacity for 5-10 guest boats, berthed either at Auktionskajen (quay 1) or at the floating pontoon (pier 9) in front of the clubhouse. Harbour dues are settled on arrival via Harba. The guest berth price including electricity starts at 180 DKK for boats under 9 m/29 ft, rising with boat size up to 550 DKK for boats over 25 m/81 ft.
The clubhouse at pier 9 has toilets and two shower facilities (on the north and south sides of the building, the southern one with a toilet). Guests receive a code for the lock system after paying the harbour fee. Electricity is included in the guest price.
Buses and light rail run to and from the harbour several times an hour, with the nearest stop/station at Østbanetorvet. A supermarket and laundrette are within walking distance of the harbour. Tie up at Auktionskajen or pier 9, and take the short walk into Aarhus city centre for food and shopping.
